About Our Customer Service Team

The Customer Service Team is the first point of contact for members and providers. Focused on delivering high-quality, solution-oriented interactions, we aim to resolve issues during the customer’s first call and ensure more complex issues are escalated to subject matter experts.

The Customer Service Team embodies HPI’s mission of serving all our members and providers. The Team reflects HPI’s values in every interaction and empowers the organization to support those we serve.


What you’ll do

Customer Service is the heart of our commitment to compassionate care. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our members’ experience and make a real difference in every conversation. As part of the Customer Service Team, you will be surrounded by multiple talented individuals who lead with a service-first mentality and understand the power of one. In this role, you’ll also: 

  • Serve as a positive team member working toward a common company goal
  • Meet department standards and expectations for quality and production
  • Efficiently leverage tools and technology to support resolution of issues
  • Work with partner departments to resolve customer issues
  • Actively participate in and support the learning process

What you bring

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years’ prior customer service using multiple computer systems 
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, work within timeframes and meet deadlines, while being self-motivated, detailed and organized
  • The capacity to recognize and maintain confidentiality
  • The aptitude to communicate in a professional and pleasant manner
