Essity is looking for a Key Account Manager to lead our Medical Distributor Channel. This is a pivotal, home-based role where you’ll act as a trusted partner to key medical distributors, helping to shape the future of healthcare solutions through innovation, collaboration, and commercial excellence.

About the Role

The Key Account Manager for the Medical Distributor Channel will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key medical distributors, they will act as a strategic partner and liaise between the customer and the company. You must have proven experience in Key Account Management, consultative sales and customer success with a strong business acumen and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and grow key accounts within the medical distributor channel
  • Build and maintain long-term customer partnerships
  • Translate strategic marketing plans into actionable customer initiatives
  • Deliver budgeted growth and profitability targets
  • Lead account planning aligned with therapy area strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, and Business Intelligence
  • Monitor sales patterns, negotiate trading terms, and ensure product availability and promotion
  • Develop compelling business cases and presentations
  • Understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes to inform strategy

You are a results-driven professional with a consultative sales approach and a strong commercial mindset. You bring:

  • A deep understanding of the pharmacy and healthcare market
  • Proven experience in senior account management and customer success
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise key accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with customer management systems
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
