Job Summary 

The Menu Implementations Specialist is focused on setting up and configuring external partner implementations within our platform. In this role, you will work closely with a small team to build and program user-friendly menus across multiple Point of Sale (POS) systems while ensuring seamless data flow and accurate client-specific configurations. The ideal candidate has several years of restaurant experience, is highly detail-oriented, technically savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. No programming experience is required. 

This is a 100% remote role

Responsibilities 

  • Build, configure, and update digital menus for restaurant clients within our platform, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with brand and operational requirements 
  • Interpret client-provided menu data (spreadsheets, PDFs, scans, or hand-written notes) and translate it into structured, platform-compatible formats 
  • Collaborate closely with Implementation Managers, Account Managers, and Customer Success teams to gather menu requirements and resolve configuration gaps 
  • Support the Integrations team by assisting in set-up and configuring third-party partner implementations 
  • Perform detailed quality checks to ensure menus are error-free, logically organized, and meet user experience and operational standards 
  • Troubleshoot menu build issues and implement timely corrections or updates based on customer feedback or internal QA 
  • Maintain documentation of menu configurations and update tracking systems to ensure visibility across implementation and support teams 
  • Continuously improve the speed and accuracy of builds by adopting best practices, automation tools, or feedback loops 
  • Stay informed on product changes or enhancements that affect menu-building capabilities, workflows, or features 
  • Assist in standardizing menu building processes and templates to improve scalability and consistency across clients 

Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience in data entry, menu configuration, technical onboarding, software troubleshooting, or similar detail-oriented role  
  • 2-4 years of experience in the restaurant or POS industry 
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to accurately interpret, enter, and organize complex data 
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, structured forms, and software platforms (experience with POS, CMS, or SaaS platforms is highly preferred) 
  • Ability to read and translate various types of menu content (digital, handwritten, scanned) into structured digital formats 
  • Solid organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize multiple menu builds in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with implementation, support, and customer success teams 
  • Adaptability to changing tools, systems, and processes in a fast-paced technology environment 
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and desire to continuously improve accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or two years of college experience is highly preferred 
  • Typing proficiency: 50-70 wpm
