Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field PLUS four (4) years of experience in a research laboratory setting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong scientific writing and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, analyze and interpret data, and communicate results
Proficiency in managing literature databases and learning new techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
Prior research experience relevant to molecular biology, biochemistry, or related areas
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Perform wet-lab experiments including molecular biology, biochemistry, and studies involving vertebrate animals and human subjects.
Conduct dry-lab tasks such as data analysis, figure generation, data management, and basic bioinformatics
Assist with research compliance including writing and updating protocols for animal and human subject studies.
Provide general lab support including organizing meetings, assisting with grants and manuscripts, and mentoring lab staff and trainees.
Other duties as assigned.
