We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Operations Associate to support core billing activities. In this role, you will process incoming sales orders and handle billing-related customer inquiries via a shared email inbox. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and possesses strong communication and data entry skills.

As a Billing Operations Associate, you’ll report to the Billing Operations Manager and contribute significantly to our dynamic and rapidly expanding team.

  • Process sales orders in the billing or ERP system (e.g., NetSuite) in accordance with standard procedures and timelines
  • Monitor the shared billing email inbox and respond to customer inquiries within defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Review and respond to requests such as invoice copies, billing corrections, credit/rebill requests, and general billing inquiries
  • Collaborate with teams including Sales, Customer Support, and Finance to resolve billing-related issues
  • Log, track, and update the status of billing inquiries and resolutions to ensure visibility and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of billing transactions and communications
  • Escalate complex or urgent issues to senior team members or management as appropriate
  • 1–2 years of experience in billing, order processing, customer service, or a related administrative function
  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in email communication and shared inbox tools (e.g., Gmail, Zendesk, Intercom)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures consistently
  • Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting tasks
  • Minimum of 25 mbps download and 5 mbps upload ($50/month reimbursement) – Use https://www.speedtest.net/ – screenshot including the date and time
