What's the Opportunity:

As a Junior FP&A Analyst at AssetWatch, you will turn data into insights that drive strategic decisions and improve financial performance. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and other teams, you will analyze data to support growth and operational efficiency. We are seeking a proactive, analytical thinker with strong technical skills and a curiosity for the business. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. 
  • Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that support business decision-making. 
  • Identify and address data quality issues, working to improve overall data hygiene. 
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and deliver actionable insights. 
  • Assist in automating recurring data processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. 
  • Document data sources, methodologies, and workflows to promote transparency and consistency. 
  • Support ad hoc data requests from stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Contribute to data-driven initiatives that inform product, operations, and strategic planning. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • 1+ years of experience in financial or data analysis, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. 
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Willingness to learn new tools and techniques quickly. 
  • Able to work independently and take initiative. Preference for candidates in PST, MST, and CST. 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus.
