About Taroko.io
Taroko.io is a global venture studio with 15 years of experience building and scaling technology enabled companies. We're profitable, self-funded, and operate lean—free from legacy baggage or bloated structures. Our globally distributed team has launched multiple successful ventures, including the sale of Termly.io to One.com in 2025. Every new startup benefits from our proven playbooks, shared infrastructure, and the collective expertise of a seasoned, execution-focused team.
We’re currently launching a new business unit and looking for a smart, ambitious, and energetic People Ops Coordinator to help build the foundation.
The Role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone passionate about people operations and startup building. You’ll work directly with our Director of Operations to set up the foundations of a high-performing remote team: from hiring and onboarding to rolling out our tech stack, setting up core workflows, and supporting long-term growth.
You’ll be the heartbeat of the new business unit’s team—ensuring every candidate and employee has a seamless, engaging experience, while also handling day-to-day business operations that make a remote-first company run smoothly. You'll learn modern People Ops strategies, use cutting-edge tools, and collaborate with seasoned leaders who’ve done this before—successfully. If you're highly organized, great with people, and love using technology to get things done faster and smarter, this is the role for you.
