Instructional Designer

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities

Stay current with all new Anaplan standard methodologies and software improvements to ensure learning content is kept up to date.

Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts from Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Alliances, and Enablement to define and document learning objectives.

Transform raw source content from SMEs into instructional material, including eLearning courses and classroom training curriculums, designed to optimize learning.

Continually improve training delivery based upon feedback from course participants and mentor team members on feedback received.

Learn unreleased product or program content quickly and be prepared to deliver quality training on release.

Ability to be flexible with modality and time requirements to meet customer needs for training.

Special assignments and other duties not specifically stated may also be assigned.

Work within LMS and instructional design platforms to ensure quality learning experience.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in instructional design.

Experience working in instructional design in a high-tech environment.

Experience with Anaplan preferred.

Experience with learning tools, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.

Strong oral and written communication skills and high attention to details.

Passion for learning, teaching, and constant improvement.

Familiarity with adult learning principles, learning theories, and instructional methodologies.

Ability to communicate concepts in a concise, logical manner so students can absorb and retain.

Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.

Understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound).

Flexibility to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
