Instructional Designer

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities

 Stay current with all new Anaplan standard methodologies and software improvements to ensure learning content is kept up to date.

 Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts from Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Alliances, and Enablement to define and document learning objectives.

 Transform raw source content from SMEs into instructional material, including eLearning courses and classroom training curriculums, designed to optimize learning.

 Continually improve training delivery based upon feedback from course participants and mentor team members on feedback received.

 Learn unreleased product or program content quickly and be prepared to deliver quality training on release.

 Ability to be flexible with modality and time requirements to meet customer needs for training.

 Special assignments and other duties not specifically stated may also be assigned.

 Work within LMS and instructional design platforms to ensure quality learning experience.

Job Qualifications

 Minimum 5 years’ experience in instructional design.

 Experience working in instructional design in a high-tech environment.

 Experience with Anaplan preferred.

 Experience with learning tools, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.

 Strong oral and written communication skills and high attention to details.

 Passion for learning, teaching, and constant improvement.

 Familiarity with adult learning principles, learning theories, and instructional methodologies.

 Ability to communicate concepts in a concise, logical manner so students can absorb and retain.

 Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.

 Understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound).

 Flexibility to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
