Job description

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Social Media Project Manager will coordinate social media activities for all Kingston products and campaigns, support the Corporate Marketing Team with various marketing programs, advertisements, and strategies, and perform other related work as required. Salary $91k-$109k

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as project manager for the corporate social content calendar, ensuring the timely publication and boosting of relevant and engaging content across various social media platforms.
  • Oversees and executes the Social Media Team's corporate US organic and agency social media content workflow, including meeting posting timelines, brief creation, kick-off meetings, weekly status check-ins, wrap-up reporting analysis, and process improvements.
  • Analyzes month-over-month content performance utilizing KPIs to improve agency and in-house content. This will lead the brainstorming, development, scheduling and posting of all content on US social channels.
  • Executes and monitors paid social media campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget to measure success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Acts as a key liaison between internal marketing teams, stakeholders, regional teams, and external agencies/vendors to gather feedback and execute larger marketing efforts.
  • Coordinates and maintains communication with internal marketing teams, internal stakeholders, regional social media teams, and external agencies and vendors to gather feedback and execute larger marketing efforts.
  • Oversees the execution of email marketing campaigns and reports on performance using KPIs.
  • Manages influencer activities by coordinating deliverables, ensuring timely execution of campaign content, and create performance reports.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met whole maintaining high attention to detail and quality.
  • Attends product meetings to gather information for new or existing projects.
  • Provides backup support to other team members as needed to ensure continuous operation and workflow coverage.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

Special requirements

  • Up to 10% travel as needed.

 

GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

  • Strong understanding of current social media trends, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with teams and departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently.
  • Tremendous attention to detail & organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Demonstrable skill and experience in using Excel, using advanced formulas and methods for organizing data and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM system is a plus.

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related study preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, with a experience managing internal and external workflows.
  • Experience with social media management platforms like Sprinklr/Sprout preferred.
  • Experience in the technology market is a plus.
