What You Will Do
Johnson Controls is searching for a qualified Regional Sales Representative to join our Industrial Refrigeration team to support sales within the Food and Beverage Industries. M&M Carnot designs, manufactures, and services industrial refrigeration systems worldwide. These systems consist of CO2 cascade & ammonia components, screw compressor packages, reciprocating compressor packages, ASME-certified pressure vessels, heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers, and complete control systems.
The Regional Sales Representative will interact with various levels of contracted manufacturers' sales representatives, contractors, end-users, consulting engineers/architects, and internal colleagues in support of growing our business. This position will also be responsible for identifying market trends and new business opportunities to help fuel our continued growth. Maintaining opportunity pipeline effort and reporting, forecasting, and providing closure on opportunities as lost jobs or secured business are required. The role requires both direct sales efforts and management of independent manufacturers' sales representatives to achieve the goals. To be successful in this position, the Regional Sales Representative needs to prospect while also maintaining and growing existing customers. Higher travel will be required in the initial period while building relationships and establishing the person/brand in the territory. After that, travel may taper down and fluctuate between 30-50%. This travel is often required outside of normal business hours. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop sales strategies.
Present new products and services to new customers.
Experience in building, maintaining, and nurturing customer relationships.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of M&M Carnot's products and services.
Represent M&M Carnot by attending trade shows, industry events & educational sessions.
Partner with Marketing for market plans and potential targets.
What We look for
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
5+ years of industrial refrigeration experience.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in equipment, manufacturing, or contracting sales required.
Experience in technical sales, including the ability to understand and explain complex technical products.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with software including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), technical rating and pricing software, and CRM software such as Salesforce.
30%-50% travel within assigned territory.
Preferred
Industrial refrigeration experience with a focus on the food and beverage industries.

WA -$121,700 - $172,200
CA - $121,700 - $173,800
AZ/ID/MT/NV/OR/UT/WY- $121,700 - $162,5000
