A Day in the Life of BI Operations Analyst

A Business Intelligence (BI) operations role involves overseeing the day-to-day functioning of a company's BI systems and processes to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently. This includes managing user access, monitoring system performance, ensuring data quality, and supporting BI tools.

So, how are we going to keep you busy?

  • Managing Portal User Access
  • Client set up in portal
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing related to Portal and other internal software modules
  • Create and Analyse Reports in reporting tool (Strategy)
  • Ensure the accuracy of data replication between the source and destination databases.
  • Ensure Service Tickets are resolved with an expected level of quality within timelines.
  • Adhere to ISAE and ISO Audit controls

What will make you eligible for this role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree - BE/BTech Preferrable

Experience, that will be an advantage:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in BI - would be a great plus
  • Experience in Telecom Industry - good to have
  • Knowledge of MicroStrategy or any other reporting tool - good to have

  • BI/Datawarehouse knowledge - Basic/Intermediate Level
  • SQL – Basic/Intermediate Level                                          
  • Linux – Basic/Intermediate Level
  • Knowledge of Databases - SQL, Oracle, Hadoop (Hive/Trino)

  • Shell Scripting - Basic/Intermediate Level
