Position Summary
The Labor Relations Coordinator provides operational support to the Human Resources Labor Relations team by maintaining data integrity, supporting compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and streamlining labor-related processes. This role serves as a liaison between HR, operations, and union stakeholders to support accurate workforce tracking, reporting, and administrative execution of labor relations activities.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of workforce rosters, including eligibility lists for holiday pay, in accordance with union agreements.
  • Support the maintenance of CBA tracking tools to support compliance and labor relations processes.
  • Partner with operational leaders to manage work schedule data for PTO plans, including the addition of new hires and maintaining up to date workforce schedule adjustments.
  • Generate HR and workforce data reports to identify discrepancies and work to implement corrective actions in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the administration of union dues authorizations and membership assignments, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support the monthly remittance process for dues and financial contributions.
  • Oversee labor relations service requests and inquiries via the HR ticketing system ensuring correct ticket assignment and status tracking.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures for labor relations processes, contributing to process consistency and audit readiness.
  • Support and cross-train on Labor Relations processes such as PTO tracking and timekeeping to ensure coverage and accuracy across labor units.

Education
> High School Diploma or equivalent required
> Associates or Bachelor’s in Human Resources preferred

Experience Required:
  • 1–2 years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or data entry
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel  - including sorting, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
  • Used to working with very large spreadsheets
  • Experience in a multi-site, high-volume, or regulated work environment
  • Exposure to labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, or union-related processes (not required but a plus)

SALARY - $25-27/hour
LOCATION - this role is 100% remote


The salary range for this position is based on market data and is intended to provide a general guideline for the position. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.  The final offer will be determined through a comprehensive evaluation during the hiring process.
