This vacancy is available remotely in Spain, UK, Germany, Poland, Ukraine or Bulgaria and the applicant must have the right to work from one of these locations.

FutureMeds is a research site network that supports the pharmaceutical industry through patient recruitment and retention via its network of research sites across seven countries, as well as tailored decentralized solutions throughout Europe. The company is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee business development activities for decentralized clinical trial solutions. The position includes responsibilities such as identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue by promoting DCT services to pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs.

The Sales Manager – Decentralized Clinical Trials will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on decentralized solutions, and supporting the long-term growth strategy of the FutureMeds @Home department. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization’s goals within the healthcare sector.
Your profile
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to advance decentralized trial solutions, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, assess competitive landscapes, and discover new market segments, translating these findings into actionable business development initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations aligned with FutureMeds’ core focus areas and long-term growth goals.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with key industry stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and Clinical Research Organisations.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients within the life sciences sector, assessing partnership and business opportunities consistent with FutureMeds’ decentralized strategy and growth targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including FutureMeds @Home Decentralized Operations, Global Business Development, Site Operations, marketing, legal, and finance—to ensure successful execution of business expansion plans.
  • Support budget discussions and contract negotiations with partners and stakeholders to secure agreements that deliver mutual value.
  • Deliver tailored decentralized clinical trial (DCT) offerings that address client requirements and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (clinical operations, project management, Site Operations) to facilitate seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving regulatory frameworks.
  • Continuously monitor market and competitor dynamics to identify new risks and emerging opportunities.
  • Represent FutureMeds at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to elevate brand visibility and attract new business prospects.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics (KPIs) to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ clinical trial sales experience, ideally with decentralized/hybrid models.
  • Consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes and relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Skilled in delivering presentations and proposals to varied audiences.
  • Self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Business savvy with financial analysis skills.
  • Open to domestic and international travel as required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with telemedicine, remote monitoring, and digital health technologies.
  • Experience working with CROs, sponsors, and technology vendors.
  • Knowledge of global clinical trial regulations and compliance standards.
