As an Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs, you will engage in the exchange of scientific data and other medical and/or information with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, pharmacists, and population-based decision makers. You are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of B-Cell Malignancies, to include NHL and Multiple Myeloma aligned with our strategic medical plans. Additionally, you will establish, foster, cultivate, and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in Hematological Malignancies.
Territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
A typical day may include:
• Identifies and maintains a list of relevant medical/therapeutic area experts, investigators and develop engagement plans.
• Support evidence generation (company sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies) research initiatives including:
• Implement Field Medical clinical trial engagement strategies through provision of clinical trial support resources and activities
• Leverage territory excellence to support site and investigator identification requests
• Support IIS programs with well-articulated local concept review presentations.
• Identify and report medical insights.
• Identifies gaps in research and educational needs to inform medical strategy.
• Responds to requests for information related to study indications, disease state and therapeutic area, and presents/discusses data to appropriate audience.
• Performs disease management and therapeutic education with identified practitioners, payers, and researchers.
• Attend medical conferences to collect and report relevant, scientific, clinical, & competitive intelligence.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, principles, and financial controls are maintained with integrity and professionalism is displayed internally and externally.

To be considered you are required to have a terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) and >8 years of experience which includes 4+ years working within Oncology/Hematology as a Medical Science Liaison. Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharma regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines are required. Preferred experiences include: Lymphoma and/or multiple myeloma and drug launch experience.
Residency in the territory is required.
Capable of engaging in frequent business travel (approximately 70% of the time), including air travel, ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends. Possesses a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
