As a Software Training Specialist you will travel to various US automotive dealerships to provide expert training for both new and existing customers. You will have the opportunity to work directly with dealership personnel to understand their unique workflows and provide a personalized solution to improve their business processes, customer satisfaction, and return on investment. This role requires extensive travel (up to 75% of the time) and a deep understanding of the automotive industry’s service, sales or marketing functions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Onboarding & Training: Lead onboarding sessions and deliver training on a variety of SaaS products for automotive dealerships. 
  • Consulting: Analyze each dealership’s workflow and processes, offering tailored recommendations customized to enhance their operations. 
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct various product quality assurance checks before training sessions and deliver webinars to ensure customer understanding. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Client Success, Technical Support, and Onboarding to support customers, resolve issues, and enhance the functionality of our software. 
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot software functionality issues, offering temporary workarounds and troubleshooting steps. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure your expertise remains relevant and impactful. 
  • Product Analysis: Using relevant feedback gathered from the field, provide insights as to the strengths and weaknesses of Affinitiv products in comparison to its competitors. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Experience: 3-5 years in the automotive industry with specific expertise in fixed operations (service, sales, and marketing). 
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to effectively deliver training in both classroom and virtual settings, with strong classroom management skills. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to be patient, calm, and approachable when working with dealership personnel. 
  • Self-Driven: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meeting aggressive timelines. 
  • Travel: Must be able to travel 75% of the time, including up to three weeks per month onsite with dealerships, and one week working remotely from home. 
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
