Member Programs Supervisor


Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Member Programs Manager, the Member Programs Supervisor will manage and execute various member programs. This includes programs that are newly launched and mature programs; programs with annual cycles and programs with daily activities; and industry wide and member exclusive programs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that is eligible for remote work.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise member program groups by managing advisory boards, program budgets and implement programming and      education related to the market(s) of the membership division 
  • Manage education and committees for partnered ATA events 
  • Manage member programs, such as awards, certification, webinars, career center and podcasts.
  • Manage, create and send member messages through mass email software.
  • Work with committees, taskforces and other volunteers on program execution.
  • Attend and/or exhibit at trade shows or conferences as a representative of ATA.
  • Manage logistics for conferences, workshops and other events including ATA Expo show floor programming such as the demonstration area.  (e.g. support event planning meetings, work with vendors and clients, develop marketing materials and signs, manage registration process and database, order food and beverages for event, etc.)
  • Assist with research and writing projects, including gathering, creating and/or editing content for social media, newsletters, website, magazines, print materials, etc.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers and association members. 
  • Support membership sales, recruitment, and retention efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned such as maintaining and updating membership database, pulling business mailing lists, managing the board transition process and providing general administrative support to ATA divisions and the Member Programs Manager. 
Requirements
  • Minimum B.A./B.S. and/or equivalent education experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education.
  • 3–5 years of related work experience. Preferred experience working with volunteers and/or advisory boards, coordinating events/workshops/conferences, and general project management experience.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple work projects and tasks under pressure, as well as remain reliable and flexible.
  • Strong attention to details, deadlines, documentation and project timelines.
  • Ability to work independently within role and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to monitor membership and division goals and understand project budgets.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of projects, learn quickly and take on additional      responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofing,      with experience communicating with a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with customer information.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others as requested.
  • Experience with database and online software (e.g. Real Magnet), etc.
  • Experience with website management and social media (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 25 - 50lbs.
  • Travel required, 5-8 trips/year for events, meetings and more. 
  • Eligible for full-time remote with professional home workspace available. Must reside within continental US. Preferred residence local to ATA headquarters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28-$30 per hour
