Key Responsibilities:

Dealer Network Expansion

  • Proactively identify geographic "white space" and market opportunities where SANY is underrepresented.
  • Develop and maintain a dealer recruitment strategy aligned with our heavy construction equipment and SANY America’s strategic goals.
  • Research, evaluate, and vet potential dealer candidates based on financial strength, business capability, and industry experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including initial outreach, needs analysis, presentations, site visits, and proposal negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, aftermarket, legal) to onboard and support new dealer partners.

Dealer Development & Support

  • Support the growth and performance of newly recruited dealers during the ramp-up phase.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for new and existing dealers and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in dealer performance reviews and develop action plans where needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between dealers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment.

Recruiting Strategy & Reporting

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified dealer candidates and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Document and track all dealer development activities using CRM tools and reporting platforms.
  • Analyze dealer coverage and market trends to inform future recruitment priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in dealer development, OEM sales, or dealer recruitment, preferably in construction equipment, port or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of dealer operations, business development practices, and territory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more as needed across the U.S.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills.
