Finance Optimizer - provide core accounting services for Law Firms

Vineskills is looking for a core accountant based in the Philippines to join our fully remote team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Finance Optimizers to support law firm clients by managing core accounting functions and syncing financial data across modern tech platforms.

We're looking for someone who's detail oriented, tech-curious, and excited to improve systems for clients. If you love clean reconciliations, smart workflows, and digging into data, and trust accounting, this might be the perfect fit for you!

What you'll get to do:

• Reporting to the core accounting lead, you will work closely with fellow finance optimizers, handling essential accounting tasks for our law firm clients, including trust accounting.
• Complete month-end close, reconciliations, bill and expense management, tech stack syncing, and reconciliations between different tech systems for our clients.
• Become familiar with Filevine and our QuickBooks integration

A strong understanding of the following is preferred:

• Deep knowledge of accounting functions, including financial review, reconciliations, and internal control
• QuickBooks Online for accounting (QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor preferred)
• Live Bank Feed in QBO - rules, matching, etc.
• Expense management platforms (Bill.com, Ramp, Expensify)
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze financial data

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA exam passed (preferred but not required)
• 3-5 years of experience in public or corporate accounting (U.S. & trust accounting)
• Someone who gets energy from building and improving workflows and proactively shares ideas for process improvement to benefit clients and the team
• Technologically savvy and inquisitive, with a passion for financial technology
• Well-organized and effective at managing task lists with proven experience meeting regular deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communications; responsive within 24 hours to client emails, inquiries and daily accounting tasks
