Job description

Blackmore Partners is seeking highly motivated and ambitious candidates who are interested in gaining valuable experience through our Digital Marketing Internship Training Program. This remote position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for either 6 months.

As a Digital Marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a small team and Chief Marketing Director and Partner to assist in creating and implementing marketing, business development, and public relation strategies. Our goal is to provide hands-on experience to interns by giving them the chance to use WordPress to manage our websites, create social media content, and promote our services on different platforms. You will also have the opportunity to call and email clients to promote our services and assist in designing posts for social media and crafting email blasts.

The program is designed to provide valuable training and experience to interns while allowing them to contribute to our digital marketing efforts. This is an unpaid internship, but it is eligible for college credit with university approval.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize PowerAutomate and Infusionsoft to manage and optimize marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with Chief Marketing Director and Partner to create engaging marketing content for email outreach
  • Use analytical data to measure marketing effectiveness and provide insights to the Chief Marketing Director
  • Create compelling content such as emails and social media messages to improve SEO and drive website traffic
  • Participate in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, platform selection, and performance tracking
  • Organize and manage virtual events, including conferences, webinars, and social networking events
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies
  • Manage and maintain the company website, blog, and social media channels to ensure they are up-to-date and engaging
  • Assist in managing the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Present regular updates on daily and weekly tasks to company meetings
  • Address website technical issues as they arise and suggest improvements to website functionality and user experience
  • Edit conference and webinar videos for maximum impact
  • Build brand awareness through creative marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Use marketing platforms such as WordPress (Elementor and Yoast Plugins), Buffer, LinkedIn, YouTube, Infusionsoft, Canva, and Microsoft 365/Teams to achieve marketing objectives
  • Schedule meetings and present services to executives and Private Equity firms through call or video meetings
  • Full-time 6-month Marketing Interns who excel in their role may earn the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Marketing Director and Partner as an assistant or team lead, contributing to daily operations and taking on key responsibilities as needed
  • Regularly report daily activity to your supervisor, ensuring transparency and clear communication


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Advertising, Journalism, or English preferred.
  • Must have a stable computer/laptop, Wi-Fi, and a working webcam.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Pro-active mindset with the motivation to self-start on tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a small team setting with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain and operate the company websites and handle basic technical issues.
  • Ability to learn software programs and CRM's.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with SEO is required.
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress/Squarespace is a plus.
  • Experience with video editing is a plus.
  • Experience with MS Publisher and Microsoft Office apps is a plus.
  • Experience in sales/revenue generation is a plus.
