The Marketing Coordinator assists with the development and execution of marketing campaigns for Vancouver Canucks Community, Retail, People & Fan Experience initiatives. As a key member of the Marketing Team, they build effective working relationships with stakeholders and leverage both internal and external resources to deliver campaign objectives. This is term position covering a maternity leave.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
(Other duties may be assigned from time to time)
Support with the strategic planning, production, and execution of marketing campaign supporting Community, Retail, People & Fan Experience initiatives.
Work with in-house and external research/analytics resources to turn data into insights and insights into advantage.
Assist in the building of marketing plans that deliver on campaign objectives and ensuring all campaign touchpoints are aligned to brand standards and quality expectations.
Liaise with in-house Content, Design, and Digital teams to build strategic, compelling briefs that deliver desired outcomes (i.e., lead generation, market awareness, fundraising, etc.)
Use best practices like workback schedules, RACI charts, and project charters to ensure campaigns and collateral are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Lead the approvals process, ensuring final sign-off is received efficiently and coordinating revisions as necessary.
Support the Marketing Leadership team in developing the corporate marketing plans
Actively participate in regular team meetings ensuring your activities are well-coordinated with other initiatives and that any risks, issues, or conflicts are collaboratively managed
You Have
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as marketing or business management
At least one year of experience in a similar marketing/agency role
Solid knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including social media, display, SEM, etc.
A proven ability to make critical data-driven decisions independently
Experience prioritizing the use of limited resources to optimize results and efficiency
Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management and organizational skills
Able to work the occasional evening or weekends as required
Onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
