Job Title: Senior Finance Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting necessary reviews, analysis of the client’s finance processes and consulting with the client and project team according to ensure the project’s success.
  • Provide expertise in Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O finance functions, data migration framework, DevOps.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O application and evaluates the customer’s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
  • Demonstrate and enhance finance concepts and research techniques, to exercise discretion and make judgments on how to configure the system.
  • Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes.
  • Collaborate, manage and lead meetings with functional/technical consultants and client/end-users.
  • Supports the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O application to achieve the customer’s business requirements.
  • Facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process (if modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application).
  • Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O application.
  • Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company’s services.
  • End to End management co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project within a stipulated budget.
  • Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation.
  • Ensure timesheets are entered and processed accurately and responsible for invoicing in relation to projects.
  • Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for resource changes across projects.
  • Assist with any other necessary task as required.
  • Production support as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience as a Finance Consultant, with full ERP project implementation experience.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems using Finance and/or Project modules.
  • Ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or D365 F&O with a focus on developing functional specifications for Dynamics AX2012 or D365 F&O enhancements and integrations.
  • Ideally experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration and testing of AX2012 or D365 F&O solutions using best practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and teamwork orientation.
  • Strong English and French business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including: Scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurements, and integration.
  • Experience leading large complex technology projects.
  • Business intelligence understanding including Reporting and Analytics.
  • Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers.
  • Fluency in written and oral English and French.
