Summary of Job Duties:
The Manager, Biomedical Engineering oversees the hospital’s clinical equipment operations, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role manages the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment, adhering to compliance regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising clinical engineering staff, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, managing equipment procurement and vendor relationships, and supporting capital projects for equipment upgrades. The Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to align operations with patient care goals, oversees budgets, and implements policies to enhance efficiency and safety.

- Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience in healthcare institution clinical engineering role, team lead experience OR High School Diploma or GED plus 7 years of experience in healthcare institution clinical engineering role, team lead experience.
