Job description

Location: Washington D.C.

We are seeking an experienced Appian Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions using the Appian low-code platform. The ideal candidate will bring advanced Appian expertise, a strong Agile development background, and proven experience in project coordination and software lifecycle planning. This role is well-suited for a self-driven professional capable of taking ownership of development efforts and supporting team delivery in a collaborative environment.

Requirements:
Appian Senior Developer Certification
- Must hold a valid Appian Senior Developer certification.
- Developers employed by Appian Corporation who have completed alternate certification tracks must provide a documented mapping of their qualifications to the Senior Developer level (e.g., completion of the Appian --- Academy program and at least 2 years of relevant development experience).

Appian Development Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on professional development experience with the Appian platform.
- Must have successfully completed the Appian Academy.

Federal Experience
- Prior experience supporting federal government projects is required, including familiarity with federal compliance standards, documentation practices, and project delivery in government environments.

Agile Development & Software Lifecycle Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience working in Agile environments, including participation in sprint planning, iterative development, and delivery cycles.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.

Project Management Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination or management, including activities such as:
- Status reporting
- Resource planning
- Sprint and release integration planning
