Senior Full-Stack Developer (Next.js / Nest.js / Magento 2)

Our client is a US-based ecommerce company operating in the automotive sector, focused on optimizing internal operations through smart technology solutions. This is a direct end-client business with active online sales, using Magento, Fishbowl (WMS), and various custom tools and marketing integrations.

Who Were Looking For

A senior full-stack developer who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working across a broad tech stack from modern frameworks to legacy code. You'll be deeply involved in building out infrastructure and tools that directly impact e-commerce workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both new and legacy services used in e-commerce operations

• Build automation around fulfillment workflows (pick/pack/ship)

• Integrate internal systems (Fishbowl, WMS) with external APIs (ShipStation, shipping carriers)
• Work closely with the PM and founder to align development with business needs

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js

• Backend: Nest.js, Express.js, PHP (Yii)

• Database: MySQL

• Platform: Magento 2 (backend)

• Integrations: Fishbowl WMS, ShipStation, Klaviyo, GA4, GTM, Attentive, and other marketing tools

Requirements

• English: Upper-intermediate or better

• Strong experience with Next.js, Nest.js, Express.js

• Solid background in PHP/Yii and Magento 2 backend

• Comfortable maintaining legacy codebases

• Experience designing integrations with WMS and shipping APIs

• Ability to work independently in a distributed team

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in ecommerce or warehouse automation

• Familiarity with marketing integrations and analytics tools
