SUMMARY

This position is responsible for championing data quality throughout the organization. This role involves partnering with ITS and business stakeholders to enhance the quality, readiness, integrity, and consistency of enterprise data. The position requires a deep understanding of data management practices, including data profiling, cleansing, and protection. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, particularly with Sales and Marketing data and platforms, and a relentless commitment to high data quality. This role demands a skilled communicator and analytics expert capable of influencing stakeholders and independently engaging with senior leaders across the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develops and implements data quality management strategies, design and support data quality standards and procedures, and develop processes and controls for data accuracy and consistency (e.g., data health dashboards, audit reports).
  • Facilitates and manages requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across the organization to ensure comprehensive understanding and alignment.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of Marketing & Sales platforms and document the data architecture, including data flow, storage, and integration points.
  • Collaborates with domain owners/data stewards to execute data quality projects and programs, addressing data quality issues, developing solutions (including match/merge/survivorship rules, user interface usability and experience, workflow, and data integration), and establishing global data definitions and integrity.
  • Partners with Enterprise Analytics team members to enable data-driven decisions, build trust with internal customers and cross-functional teams, and seek new business opportunities.
  • Drives alignment in critical performance metrics across the enterprise.
  • Plays a key role in establishing data quality frameworks and processes, including supporting the Data Governance Council.
  • Manages multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Builds inclusive and collaborative relationships with team and peers across the department to achieve common goals.
  • Develops and executes plans with goals that measure individual and team performance.   Sets expectations for metrics for achieving goals.  Monitors and communicates progress to achieve high standards of excellence.
  • Recognizes the need for change and leads efforts to include others in the change plans.  Takes accountability to implement change through influence and intentional communication.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years in data governance, data quality, and business analytics roles, with proven experience as a Data Manager.
  • Expertise in data analysis, databases, data management practices, data validation, cleansing techniques, data modeling, and data mining.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Marketing & Sales domain, with a strong understanding of Sales and Marketing data and platforms.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

No licenses or certifications are required.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Understanding of data protection regulations and policies.
  • Basic understanding of SQL for querying and managing data within relational databases.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leaders.
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into strategic decisions.
  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to apply unique and creative approaches to resolve issues and able to deal with conflicts and problems constructively.
  • Demonstrated analytical, statistical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exhibits a positive team player attitude with a sense of urgency directed toward the provision of successful solutions.

Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is:

$102,800 - $117,000
