The Workforce Analytics team builds reporting tools and delivers insights that help leaders make smarter decisions about people and teams. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape how the organization understands its workforce—turning complex data into clear, compelling stories that guide strategy and drive results.
As a Senior Workforce Analyst, you’ll build scalable reporting tools, identify key workforce trends, and apply analytics, statistical methods, and visual storytelling to turn insight into action. Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in technical, quantitative, or business-focused fields (Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field).

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role.

  • 2+ years with hands-on experience with Workday report and dashboard design and development.

  • Proficient in building and maintaining custom, matrix and composite reports in Workday

  • Experience in Strong ability to apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)

  • Excellent communication and storytelling stills, with proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in project management, stakeholder management, critical thinking and problem solving

Principal Accountabilities

  • Partner with Technology, Finance, and HR business partners to understand workforce challenges and data needs.

  • Lead complex workforce analyses using statistical models and advanced analytics to assess key HR metrics, forecast trends, and support strategic decision making.

  • Leverage advanced storyboarding techniques to transform data findings into compelling narratives that that drive strategic decision making.

  • Apply strong technical and analytical skills to explore data, identify trends, and solve complex business problems related to people analytics and strategy.
  • Use data storytelling and visualization techniques to clearly communicate insights, shape recommendations, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lead the consultation, stakeholder management and development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations related to workforce metrics.

  • Ensure data integrity by leading quality efforts, verifying analysis, and maintaining high standard of precision

  • Identify opportunities to enhance data systems and reporting capabilities, working closely with IT and other stakeholders

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in workforce analytics and data science.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to analysts.

  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
