seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper with expertise in XERO to manage financial
transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. The role involves
ensuring compliance with accounting standards, including Australian GST
regulations, and supporting financial reporting. This position is critical for
maintaining organized financial documentation and facilitating smooth financial
operations.
What
You’ll Do
Maintain
and reconcile general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy in financial
records.
Process
accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and
payment tracking.
Ensure
compliance with Australian GST regulations in all financial transactions.
Assist
in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for
review.
Conduct
bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist
with payroll processing and related compliance tasks.
Support audits by providing accurate financial documentation as needed
Requirements
What You
Bring
We’re looking for someone who:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Finance, or a related field is required.
3+ years of bookkeeping
experience, preferably with knowledge of Australian GST.
Proficiency in XERO accounting
software is essential.
Strong understanding of
accounting principles and financial compliance.
Experience with payroll systems
and basic tax documentation.
High attention to detail and
ability to manage deadlines efficiently.
