We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Director Therapy Advancement to be based in Irvine, CA.
 

Purpose:

The National Therapy Advancement Senior Director (NTASD) is a member of the US Commercial Marketing leadership team and reports directly to the Vice President of US Commercial Marketing. National Therapy Advancement Senior Director is responsible for developing and overseeing the successful execution of the BWI Marketing strategies to increase the number of patients receiving ablation in the country in close alignment with the broader BWI commercial strategy.  The NTASD leads the full Therapy Advancement field team This role works closely with Sales and Clinical Leadership, and several cross functional teams including Health Care Compliance, HEMA and Customer Education and Engagement.

You will be responsible for:

  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent into the Therapy Advancement team (e.g., selection, performance management, succession planning, development planning, retention planning, etc.). Coach and manage (directly) the performance of the Area TAM’s including the coaching and managing of the Regional TAMS’s through the Area TAM’s
  • Develop business critical commercial goals for team, ensure accountability and provide leadership to ensure the team meets and exceeds business goals
  • Develop and execute customer relationship strategies through his/her organization to ensure effective relationships with key clinical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead national projects for the field Therapy Advancement team.
  • Understand, adhere to, and hold team accountable for adherence to Company programs, policies and procedures (e.g. expense reporting, compensation, healthcare compliance, etc.).
  • Manage the Therapy Advancement P&L
  • Lead the development and execution of market development strategies and tactics to support healthcare providers and patients for the expansion of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) diagnosis and treatment
  • Partner with US Commercial Marketing and Sales and Clinical leadership to lead the execution of appropriate commercial strategies to maximize business outcomes
  • Participate as an active member of the US Commercial Marketing leadership team to ensure effective execution of national strategies
  • Lead the development and implementation of procedural and operational efficiency solutions in key customer accounts
  • Establish and leverage key customer relationships nationally and locally to better understand pain points in delivering care, and help refine the BWI strategy to be the partner of choice
  • Collaborate in a matrix organization to drive change and promote and improve the use of all available customer resources developed by commercial marketing, CEE, HEMA, etc
  • Plan and execute national-level marketing projects that will contribute to organizational goals
  • Uphold all HCC rules and regulations with the field Therapy Advancement Team
     

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $173,000.00 - $347,000.00

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.  Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.  The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.  Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

    • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BA/BS, combined with a minimum of 7 years professional work experience and 3 years of sales and marketing experience is required
  • MBA or related master's degree is preferred
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry is preferred. Sales experience in cardiovascular/EP is preferred
  • People management experience required, prior team management experience is preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are required
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach is required
  • Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across a matrix organization is required
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency is required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills are required
  • Travel percentage – 70% U.S. only, including some weekends
  • Position is based out of CSS headquarters in Irvine; local residency strongly preferred
