Role Summary/Purpose:
The discipline of Project Management exists to establish and evangelize process from project inception to completion. They are multi-taskers, problem-solvers, negotiators and diplomats, able to interface with key partners and manage expectations while guiding multiple projects through the internal process at the same time. In this role, you will own and lead the discipline of project management within Synchrony’s in-house creative agency. You will own defining and implementing processes for the creative teams. These processes will direct our digital creative development and workflow that will enable you to accurately forecast capacity planning
Lead project execution, process management and key stakeholder relationship building. Contribute to the vision of the overall project management structure, while providing operational enforcement, leadership, accountability, and mentorship. This role will require the hard and soft skills to lead fast moving cross-functional teams.

Essential Responsibilities:
Provides project management thought-leadership, oversight and support on all project deliverables with a given group of portfolios
Leads with a solution-focused approach to provide best practice frameworks, and ensure process and project controls are followed
Leads and manages large integrated projects throughout all stages of digital creative deliverable execution, from conception to delivery
Facilitates digital creative requirements gathering to ensure stakeholder needs are clearly understood, in line with defined processes
Participates in capacity planning across creative teams to provide a clear view of utilization and bandwidth
Establishes a strategy of continuous risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout a project’s execution
Encourages positive thinking and considers key partner and business needs in decision making
Builds and encourages strong relationships with team members and key partners
Partners with Account Directors and Account Managers to manage regular portfolio business reviews with key stakeholders
Collaborates on preparation of digital creative marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for partners
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor degree. In lieu of degree, HS Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience leading digital creative projects in an agency environment
4+ years of project management experience
2+ years of experience leading direct reports including mentoring cross-functional team members with high integrity and ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal
Experience leading digital creative projects and managing resources for an advertising agency (either external or in-house agencies)
Desired Characteristics:
Understanding of the digital creative process and how to balance with project management and workflow
Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship building dynamics and processes
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
3+ years of experience using Project Management Software (Workfront preferred)
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
