The successful candidate will be part of the distributed KBR team supporting the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) Big Data Knowledge Management Portfolio’s Cloud Hybrid Edge-to-Enterprise Evaluation Test & Analysis Suite (CHEETAS) of tools. We are seeking a highly experienced DoD Software Analyst with a strong understanding of software engineering, agile development and requirements elicitation to join our dynamic distributed team. As a Software Analyst on the BDKM team, you will play a vital role in the development lifecycle and requirements traceability of CHEETAS. You will be instrumental in gathering, documenting and translating DoD Test and Evaluation (T&E) community needs and requests into actionable software requirements. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing new software requirements while ensuring alignment of user needs with the CHEETAS roadmap. You will also be responsible for deducing requirements from existing functionality for previously undocumented requirements and working with subject matter experts and CCB members to sort through the backlog of existing feature requests. Your ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and translate user requirements into clear, concise, testable requirements for the software development team will be crucial to the success of CHEETAS. This role requires proven experience gathering requirements within a DoD environment, familiarity with Agile methodologies, development and documentation of user stories, use case modeling and understanding of requirements traceability.

Basic Compensation: $125,200 - $187,800 (Specifically for Maryland)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
