About the Position

The Sales Support Manager reports to the Regional SVP APAC and is responsible for providing outstanding support to the Sales and Customer Success teams and prospective clients through every stage of the Sales process. This role performs a range of support tasks to the region customer facing and legal teams such as offers and tenders submissions, coordinating negotiations for contracts and managing documentation, liaising with the internal stakeholders to manage approvals as well as various other activities that ensure the entire sales process is as smooth as possible.

This is a diverse and fast-paced role that requires high energy, enthusiasm and an absolute commitment to delivering quality outcomes that support Energy Exemplar’s relentless pursuit to continue the growth journey and achieve the optimal futures of our clients. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for supporting the Sales and Customer Success teams in the preparation and submission of responses for new tenders, including supporting internal coordination
  • Act as a coordinator between Sales, Legal and internal stakeholders during the negotiation process, in the form of a “deal desk”
  • Support the Sales and Customer Success teams in preparing quotes for software licenses, training and implementations as required
  • Assisting the teams in sales / negotiation process until contracts are closed
  • Manage the coordination with legal for the preparation and follow-up of various contract agreements with new and existing clients
  • Support commercial negotiations, support the drafting and redlining of key deal terms with legal and the follow-up during negotiations
  • Create and maintain a commercial negotiation playbook, including fallback positions on key deal terms templates
  • Support the teams for managing supplier registration for new clients and document assessments
  • Support the Sales team for the coordination with Accounts team on invoicing for new customers
  • Ad-hoc assistance to Regional SVP and region team


Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a sales support, administration or aligned position involving software
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships and rapport with different stakeholders internally and externally
  • High sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company success
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to think critically
  • High written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of the end-to-end sales cycle and relevant processes
  • High proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and SalesForce
