Our unique software and Data-as-a-Service (Daas) platform, help global companies understand and reduce the Scope 3 emissions and other environmental impacts in their supply chains at scale.

The role:

Reporting to the Commercial Director, our Business Development Lead for North America will be a target-driven, bright and highly motivated colleague with strong commercial acumen and experience of developing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships. This is an exciting role suiting someone who is looking to build upon strong business development skills and has a genuine passion for sustainability and technology.

Requirements | Principal Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate the company vision and value proposition to reduce carbon emissions in global supply chains
  • Contribute to sales targets and KPIs, including pipeline management, in North America
  • Support the Key Accounts team by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
  • Build trust-based relationships within target market verticals
  • Produce sales presentations, plans, and proposals
  • Record all client contact in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and awareness
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

  • Passion for tackling climate change and reducing environmental impacts
  • Experience building partnerships and selling into global corporations
  • Proven networking skills (in-person and virtual)
  • Experience representing organizations in meetings
  • Highly organized with project management skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
  • Strong MS Office and CRM skills

Desirable

  • Experience in sales or partnerships
  • Knowledge of sustainability and GHG emissions
  • Existing network in sustainability/procurement
  • Experience with cloud-based software
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Job summary:

Location: US - East Time Zone – Remote work from home

Remuneration: Up to $100K

Tenure: Full time / 9 month fixed term with possible extension
