We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team remotely in Mexico. In this role, you will support Project Managers and Engineers in planning and executing projects by coordinating resources, managing schedules, and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

The Details of the Project Coordinator Position:

  • Location: Remote
  • Shift: 8am - 5pm CST, Monday - Friday
  • Compensation: 30,000 - 35,000 monthly pesos

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Break down projects into actionable steps and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise
  • Analyze risks and opportunities and oversee procurement processes
  • Act as the point of contact for project updates and communication
  • Use tools to track working hours, plans, and expenditures
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
  • Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure standards are met
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required; you will communicate with clients daily
  • Strong experience in project management from conception to delivery
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., tracking and portfolio management tools)
