Job Title: Design Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: 777 N Eldrige Parkway, Suite 500, Houston, TX 77079

Job Duties:** Draft plans using CAD systems; prepare maps, drawings, and bid documents for projects; compile reports, data, and supporting documentation for review by management; calculate project quantities and cost estimates based on project designs; review construction plans and update, as necessary; review proposed designs for compliance with applicable regulations and ordinances; coordinate with reviewing agencies for inspections and approval of construction plans; conduct site visits, progress meetings, and inspections of project sites; review data produced by survey teams for integration into project designs.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field. Prior experience with CAD software, advanced knowledge of underlying principles of engineering, including those of geotechnical engineering, calculus, physics, fluid mechanics, hydrology, hydraulic engineering, and traffic engineering; experience in a Civil Engineering firm.
