Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for accurate and timely handling of recharges and TP processes, regarding TP policy. Cooperation with Group Tax and local controllers. The role will also require support in consideration on process improvement ideas aiming to raise process effectiveness and productivity.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • TP calculations, both periodic and ad-hoc, including quarterly true-ups
  • Recharges calculation and distribution for particular regions;
  • Support Group Tax  and controllers in building a best practice approach to transfer pricing and recharges calculation;
  • Leverage existing systems/solutions to drive efficiencies in reporting processes and build greater insight into quality of delivered reports,
  • Explain complex issues, ideas and solutions in a simple way, often to non-financial audiences
  • Identifying and investigating issues within TP to provide better understanding of the process and support decision making;
  • Handling ad-hoc requests;
  • Participate in departmental and cross-departmental projects and initiatives
  • Assistance in the preparation of internal & external audit requests and respond to queries

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Providing transfer prices and recharges, according to TP policy
  • Delivery of insightful analysis to process improvements,
  • Provision of high quality decision support, enhancing initiative outputs,
  • Identifies the needs of key stakeholders and responds with appropriate actions which build long term relationships.

  • Experience of working in an international organisation, in shared service centre
  • 2-3 years of TP, Tax or accounting (GL) previous experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication and English/Polish language skills
  • Systems knowledge (SAP, HFM, PRIME) beneficial
  • Ability to simplify/improve processes
  • Effective at building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constrains
