About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic product engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing engaging, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces that meet the diverse marketing, advertising, and web analytics needs of our nonprofit clients. As a Frontend Engineer at Feathr, you will take ownership of your code from initial planning through deployment and maintenance, working closely with internal stakeholders, designers, and fellow engineers. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, ensuring our platform remains reliable, scalable, and easy to use. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web technologies in a collaborative environment dedicated to making a positive difference.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of frontend software engineering experience
• Proven experience owning and shipping user-facing frontend features
• Strong proficiency in React.js (preferred) or other modern frameworks such as Vue or Angular
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with state management solutions like Redux, Context API, or MobX
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend features
• Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional user interfaces
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness
• Address and resolve frontend issues promptly, including bug fixes and performance improvements
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices to maintain code quality
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
