Position Title: Recruitment Coordinator, Student Mobility
Status: FT Support
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Recruitment and Student Mobility
Campus/Location: North and/or Lakeshore Campus must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of three (3) days on-site
Start Date: This position has a start date for September 22, 2025.
Salary: FT Support Payband: I
Salary Range: $39.34 - $45.59
Starting Salary: $39.34 Progression through the payband is in accordance with the increments in the payband as outline in the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement based on actual service in the payband.
About the Office of Recruitment and Student Mobility at Humber:
The Office of Recruitment and Student Mobility supports prospective students considering Humber. We act as the first point of contact for new and existing Humber students as we deliver impactful and high-quality programming to high schools, colleges, universities and the community raising Humber’s profile and increasing awareness of our program and pathway options. As a collaborative team , we work with learners thinking of starting their journey at Humber as well as those looking to add to their previous professional and academic experiences through a new and exciting pathway. About The Recruitment Coordinator Role
Under the direction of the Manager, Student Mobility and Pathways, the Recruitment Coordinator, Student Mobility develops, coordinates and helps execute the transfer/pathways marketing and recruitment strategy at Humber in collaboration with other key stakeholders, faculties and departments. As part of Humber’s Strategic Plan to Enhance Student Access and Choice by expanding Degrees and Pathway enrolment, the incumbent will work closely with the Student Mobility, Admissions, RO Communications, Program Planning & Development. Marketing and Recruitment teams to devise strategic recruitment initiatives to help support enrolment into our degree and postgraduate programs as well as promote all pathways and transfer options at Humber.
In collaboration with the Manager, Student Mobility and Pathways, the incumbent will help to provide direction on transfer/pathways messaging for print, web, and social media as well as content for both prospective and current students. They will analyze current trends and transfer student data to target specific programs and geographical markets that would be viable applicant pools for our pathway programs. They will also work with internal stakeholders to help devise re-recruitment initiatives for current Humber students. In addition, the incumbent will develop, plan and execute transfer/pathway specific events, including the annual Humber Pathways Fair, Get Transfer Ready Orientation, Transfer Thursdays, Degree Fairs and Postgraduate Fairs or other transfer focused visits both on and off-campus. They will also work on alternative formats for outreach to students (for example, using social media platforms, webinars and the current recruitment CRM, Gecko).

Education
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of four (4) year degree or equivalent
Experience/Skill
Minimum of two (2) years experience with the following:
- Experience in a public relations/marketing capacity with experience in event planning and public speaking along with excellent communication skills.
- Having an understanding of all levels of the provincial education systems, threats, trends and legislation at the ministry level, admission entrance requirements and/or career opportunities would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Banner is an asset.
- Prior knowledge on Humber policies, practices, programs, as well as Ministry guidelines and procedures will be a big asset.
- Exceptional public speaking, strong presentation and interpersonal talents are strongly needed for success in this position.
- Related work experience in event planning is required with experience coordinating other staff.
- Experience using prospect management systems, social media platforms, meeting deadlines, working independently, completing multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a role where excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required as well as good organizational skills.
- The incumbent must be able to function independently and handle confidential materials in the appropriate manner.
- Analysis and problem solving skills.
- Planning and coordinating experience.
- Guiding and advising others experience.
- Valid G license and access to a reliable vehicle for local and provincial travel.
