Supply Chain Senior Specialist (EMEA) 

 

 

PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Expert is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining effective communication with EMEA Country Supply Chain stakeholders. This role focuses on tracking deliveries, managing documentation, conducting risk evaluations, and preparing reports to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain visibility and to facilitate smooth operations and communication.

 

CAPABILITIES NEEDED:

  • Knowledge of supply chain planning and inventory management processes, with a focus on optimizing the balance between inventory, customer service, and supply chain costs
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and manage relationships with stakeholders at different country supply chain organizations in EMEA Region
  • Ability to think strategically to develop and deliver a supply plan of materials with the company's objectives
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and reporting to derive insights from historical data, identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and drive data-driven decision-making processes
  • Continuous improvement approach in the supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and strive for higher level of service
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues, capacity constraints, and demand-supply mismatches through analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain or relevant role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in planning and reporting systems such as SAP (ERP, APO, H2R), OMP
  • Fluency in English (C1 level), proficiency in other languages is an asset


TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring smooth supply operations, timely delivery of products, and mitigation of supply risks to meet market demand effectively
  • Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure visibility for all stakeholders
  • Managing ad hoc requests for information regarding ETA, stocks, and batches
  • Creating and maintaining product master data and related data in SAP
  • Identifying and addressing potential supply related risks proactively to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity
  • Supporting preparation and participating in S&OE meetings withing country / category assigned
  • Supporting country supply chain contacts for KPI reporting such as Potential Lost Sales, DOS (days of supply) to support country S&OP cycle
  • Managing and escalating challenges hindering smooth supply and preparing improvements in aligned Supply Plans
