Responsibilities

A hospital in southeastern Iowa has an opening for a Teleradiologist to provide remote locum coverage.

Opening Highlights

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p
Setting: Fully remote
Case Volume: 75 RVUs per shift
Modality Mix: CT, US, MRI, diagnostic XR, NM, PET, and stroke
RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0
Must be board-certified
This opening allows a skilled Radiologist to support dedicated teams while working from the comfort of their own home.
Provide accurate, timely remote interpretations of imaging studies while keeping patient care at the forefront.

Qualifications

Board certification in Radiology with a commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
Strong experience in teleradiology and familiarity with remote imaging platforms.
Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup for seamless diagnostics.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered MD or DO Iowa state license
Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
One year of work experience as a Teleradiologist
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
Possession of board certification or equivalent credentials in radiology.
Demonstrated proficiency in teleradiology practices during evening shifts.
