What you will do? 
 
Customer Analytics & Segmentation 

  • Conduct comprehensive customer segmentation analysis to identify high-value client cohorts  

  • Calculate and optimize Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) across different segments  

  • Work across teams to standardize and create a repeatable process for doing this on an ongoing basis across a number of businesses 

 

Market Analysis & Opportunity Assessment  

  • Create and maintain Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) analyses  

  • Identify and quantify whitespace opportunities within existing and potential client segments  

  • Conduct market sizing exercises and penetration analysis across business lines  

 

Portfolio Optimization & Strategy Support  

  • Analyze product performance, growth and profitability across business units and product lines  

  • Help develop product portfolio management process to enhance how capital is allocated 

  • Support other product-related projects (eg pricing and packaging, etc)  

 

Competitive Intelligence  

  • Establish and maintain centralized competitive intelligence repository  

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning  

  • Analyze competitive threats and opportunities across portfolio segments  

  • Synthesize market feedback and competitive insights into actionable recommendations  

 

 
Who are we looking for:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field  

  • Proven experience in business analysis, market research, or strategic planning  

  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred  

  • Proven track record of driving business decisions through data analysis  

  • Technical skills: Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling), PowerBi etc for data visualization and dashboard creation, SQL for data extraction and manipulation, statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SPSS preferred) and knowledge of CRM systems and data management platforms  

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities  

  • Experience with customer segmentation methodologies  

  • Understanding of financial metrics and business valuation concepts  

  • Strong presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders  

  • Collaborative approach to working across multiple business lines
