As a member of the Planning and Implementation team, our APM Operations Analyst drives data quality and business operations through data analysis and reporting, ensuring providers receive timely insights to manage members. This role supports the configuration and data reporting needs for the operations of our Alternative Payment Models requiring strong analytical skills – all in service of creating an economically sustainable health care system.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications:  

• APM Operations Analyst would have a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years progressive experience in data identification, collection, validation and analytics, including report design or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. 

• Minimum of 1 year Experience with Alteryx strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years experience with Tableau or Power BI strongly preferred

• Minimum of 2 years experience with SQL or similar data querying tool strongly preferred.

Skills and Attributes: 

• Demonstrated ability to create innovative and persuasive presentations and communicate complex information effectively in writing and orally.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement chosen courses of action.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, OLAP, SPSS, Excel), with experience in data mining and statistical analysis.

• Ability to pull, manage, organize, and analyze data, including health insurance claims data, and reconcile incorrect or incomplete data into actionable recommendations.

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple moving parts, to connect dots and be proactive in communication of it all.

• Strong process optimization skills, including end-to-end process mapping, control point identification, and improvement.

• Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and focus on highest priorities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with key business partners.

• Knowledge of health insurance claims processing and data systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting in a healthcare setting.

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

• Provides data analytics support to the Provider Partnership Innovations (PPI) department, analyzing data from various sources to identify risks and inconsistencies.

• Develops partnerships with data owners and vendors to access and analyze data, and supports departmental and cross-departmental reporting.

• Analyzes healthcare industry trends and consumer preferences, researching best practices to establish benchmark data.

• Designs and maintains reporting commitments, creating supporting materials and analyzing monitoring results.

• Applies data analysis to drive process optimization, risk reduction, and controls improvement, leading cross-functional teams as needed.

• Participates in remediating risk areas and documenting processes and controls, monitoring and reporting findings.

• Ensures activities are executed as planned, providing feedback and remediation plans as needed, and documents business requirements and internal controls.

• Requires at least 2 years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and 2 years of experience with Alteryx along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The expected hiring range for a APM Operations Analyst is $83,300 - $98,000 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for the APM Operations Analyst position is 10%. The current full salary range for the APM Operations Analyst role is $78,000 - $128,000. #LI-remote #LI-hybrid
