About the Role

As a Senior Director, Digital Strategy, you will be driving performance, guiding account teams and orchestrating growth for a top advertiser. This role is for you if you relish managing a large client relationship, as well as guiding digital paid media strategy across paid search, social, programmatic, direct media, and creative strategy. You have experience and thrive in managing enterprise multi brand client relationships, working with cross channel teams, and supporting growth with a detailed eye on performance for DTC and Retail sales for brands with both an ecommerce and in store sales element.

We are looking for someone with a passion for digital marketing who wants to join a fast-growing, fun digital agency that is hyper-focused on client performance and ROI. You’ll be working at the intersection of online advertising execution and continued growth with the structure and support of a large company. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to drive improvements in account performance, but also to manage and develop some of our awesome talent.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the strategic lead for an enterprise multi-brand ecommerce and retail account 
  • Oversee media strategy for a beauty or lifestyle brand with an average monthly media budget of $1-$3M spanning both DTC 
  • Manage 15 person account team across media channels, analytics, and research 
  • Ability to motivate a team, deliver the best for the client and constantly look for new opportunities to grow
  • Build, manage, and maintain the client relationship
  • Revenue & retention responsibilities for your account
  • Drive overall account strategy, forecasting, and planning for your team
  • Analyze performance data and KPIs
  • Lead expansion into new digital paid media channels to facilitate growth
  • Stay up to date on current digital trends in the marketplace

About You
The essentials:
  • 8+ years of paid performance digital marketing experience
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role directly overseeing other digital marketing professionals
  • Experience working with ecommerce and retail CPG brands
  • Experience forecasting and allocating digital marketing budgets across channels
  • Experience working on an enterprise level account
  • You are a communication guru when presenting digital marketing strategy to C-Suite and executive audiences
  • You frequently find yourself stepping into leadership roles and want those around you to succeed
  • You have experience with utilizing and interpreting audience and competitive market research
  • Not afraid to get in the weeds, but still able to see the trees, forest, and ecosystem
  • ‘Driven’ and ‘Innovative’ are attributes commonly associated with you
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Comfortable optimizing toward back-end metrics from a CRM such as Salesforce

Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
