What you'll do:

This role is a Software Tester reporting to the Software Test Lead. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the software is stable, functional, user-friendly, and meets the high standard of quality before release to customers. Experienced as a software tester and QA analyst, testing web and/or console applications. Essential self-motivation and clear and effective communication.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Review requirements, user stories, and design specifications to create comprehensive test plans
• Perform manual (with a view to) automated testing to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns
• Document test cases and maintain detailed records of results and defects
• Log and track bugs using Jira
• Run regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory tests regularly
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD processes
• Ensure high-quality releases in an Agile remote environment
• Ensure solid communication and documentation skills, given the remote setting
• Ensure strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

Successful candidates must have:

• 2+ years of experience as a software tester, QA analyst, or similar role preferred
• Comfortable working remotely and independently with minimal supervision
• Familiar with QA methodologies, testing life cycles, and bug tracking systems
• Experience testing web and/or console applications
• Solid communication and documentation skills, given the remote setting
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

• Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on remote or distributed teams
  • Radio and communication industry experience favourable
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, SQL and test management platforms
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification
  • Experience with test automation and scripting is a plus
  • Basic understanding of automated testing tools

Work Arrangements:

• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT
• Work Setup: Work From Home
• Office Location: Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
