This role demands a blend of analytical rigor, creative storytelling, and strong business acumen. The Senior Director will act as the internal voice of the customer deeply attuned to the motivations, concerns, and decision-making behaviors of our target segments. This role will lead the development and dissemination of customer personas, journey maps, and insight-driven strategies that guide product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
A critical part of this role is mastering the product portfolio, not only understanding the technical features and capabilities but translating them into customer value. The Senior Director will evaluate where our products excel and where there are gaps, bringing a customer-first lens to feature prioritization and roadmap planning. This includes partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ensure future development aligns with actual market needs.
Given the complexity and variety of our distribution channels, the Senior Director will also become an expert in channel-specific dynamics recognizing that positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approaches may need to flex based on audience, acquisition model, or sales strategy. This includes tailoring content and enablement strategies that resonate with channel partners and support revenue acceleration.
Positioned at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, this role will drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment. The Senior Director will lead go-to market strategy for new product launches, oversee competitive intelligence and market research, and craft differentiated value propositions that elevate our brand and convert interest into action.
Above all, this role requires a hands-on, self-starting leader who is energized by ambiguity, confident in driving change, and highly skilled at earning credibility across senior leadership and functional stakeholders. The Senior Director, Product Marketing will not simply support business objectives, they will shape them, influencing how we grow, who we serve, and how we win.
