Position Summary

SFS is looking for a Regional Sales Manager- Low Slope  to deliver sales and account acquisition results that meet or exceed budgets and forecasts and defined performance targets, along with managing key accounts in the Construction Division to grow existing sales and identify specific strategies and tactics to generate new accounts. He or she will represent SFS brand in the marketplace by being a brand ambassador while exhibiting our corporate values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully identify and qualify OEM, fabricator, contractor/installer and engineer application opportunities that align with our core competencies
  • Use a consultative approach to present the key features and benefits of using SFS products to a range of prospective customers
  • Effectively broaden the existing awareness and interest in SFS capabilities throughout your regional network of OEM's distributors and end users
  • Cooperate with the SFS inside sales and business unit managers to contribute to the execution of the plan to develop strategic partnership with key accounts across all product range .
  • Employ a stewardship approach using the 80/20 strategy for overall territory management to include customer and prospect relationships, opportunities, complaints and team involvement.
  • Integrate into markets to anticipate and identify trends in applications and customer needs
  • Conduct market research customer and prospect analysis and market feasibility to support new product development investment.
  • Maintain continuous observation and report on market trends, competitor benchmarks1 innovative developments and general market conditions.
  • Ensure regular cross functional collaboration on market growth opportunities, business process enhancement, and strategic account targeting
  • Develop and grow market listening skills
  • Travel extensively within the designated multi-state territory to meet clients at job sites to demo tools and attend industry events.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fasteners/tool or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications and applications.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel frequently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
