We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Electrician! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy-efficient smart thermostats, conduct pre, and post-installation verifications, and verify electrical system performance through a defined territory. Support program staff and clients in their efforts to influence stakeholders. Provides technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots electrical and low voltage technical problems and issues and recommends solutions.

Successful candidates will reside in Indianapolis, Indiana.

• Install a wide range of thermostats (including Wi-Fi), water heater demand response controllers

• Record and report to program staff customers and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements

• Discuss with team Safety First, near-misses, and everyday safety-first mindset

• Resolve electrical problems and issues regarding installation in accordance with client specifications

• Work with other technicians to verbally assist and resolve their electrical questions

• Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.

• Complete all required safety and compliance training

• Travel throughout a defined territory *Company Vehicle Provided*

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• 3 years of relevant industry experience

• High school diploma or GED required

• Journeyman Electrician’s License

Physical Nature of the Job 

• Crawl into small spaces 

• Work in all climates (i.e. hot attics, cold basements) 

• Bending, crouching, kneeling 

Type of Work 

• This is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers homes

Driving 

• Are at least 21 years of age 

• Valid driver's license

Target Compensation

$36 / USD Hourly

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
