Overview:
Sentara Health is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Digital Solutions team!
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in mobile development (iOS using Xcode, Android using Android Studio) and web development using React.
The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of high-quality applications across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain digital apps (iOS/Android) and web apps using React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development team members.
- Ensure code quality and performance through best practices, testing, and DevOps integration.
- Support production issues, implement enhancements, and contribute to platform migration efforts.
- Document technical designs, write clean code, and support full SDLC processes.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree

- No specific certification or licensure requirements
