Job description

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Classification: Exempt

Status: Full-Time 

 

Purpose: 

The Enterprise Project Lead is both an internal facing and external facing role that is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and launch of strategic and tactical enterprise initiatives and projects. In this role, the Enterprise Project Lead will work with RareMed leadership and internal operational leads to coordinate all aspects of the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives, systems, programs, processes, etc. The Enterprise Project Lead will leverage past organizational and pharmacy experience to define project requirements, partake in program design and build, perform feasibility and impact assessments, develop project plans and support the implementation processes. The Lead may manage ongoing pharmacy initiatives, serve as a resource for historical context to operational leadership when needed, and assist teams with change requests and program enhancements across all organizational departments across the Enterprise. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize working knowledge of pharmacy strategy, operations, compliance, and administration to guide projects uniquely focused on pharmacy-related initiatives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for pharmacy program, initiative, and systems implementations with internal team and external clients as necessary
  • Review internal and external project requirements to develop plans that ensure timely, on-budget delivery of products, systems, and processes that meet expectations.
  • Work with RareMed Leadership to define processes and develop process flows for new initiatives and systems based on company goals 
  • Work with RareMed Leadership to establish and define project scope for translation into tasks and schedules
  • Lead the development of project documentation and ensure implementation milestones and deliverables are met 
  • Facilitate internal and external project meetings including progress tracking, problem resolution, system implementation, testing, documentation, and training
  • Develop materials, including presentations, documents, trainings, and content for marketing materials, in support of Projects
  • Support business development team in developing and delivering RFP responses, patient journey research, and capabilities presentations
  • Create data mapping documentation to support system configuration and integrations
  • Execute and document testing activities to validate configuration, business logic, and workflow accuracy 
  • Provide mentorship to current fellows, as appropriate, to support their development and success
  • Assist in departmental QC activities including but not limited to daily external data reporting, client presentation review
  • Use problem solving skills and professional judgement to independently make decisions 
  • Identify problems, explore potential solutions and design and implement such solutions
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking responsibility for creating and achieving shared goals
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with clients and internal team members
  • Stay current with Pharmacy Systems and Operations by supporting coverage in pharmacy schedule/rotation two days per week, or more if dictated by business needs
  • Support licensure redundancy effort by successfully gaining licensure in requested states as needed
  • Other duties assigned based on staffing, coverage, and program implementation needs
  • Serve as an ambassador of RareMed’s culture and values


Required Qualifications: 

  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Licensure in state of PA
  • Previous experience in specialty pharmacy, healthcare setting, and/or HUB services
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, implement and evaluate projects
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to define goals in an objective and measurable fashion

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in product development and/or implementation
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word


Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employee’s home address listed in their employment file. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. When telecommuting employees must have reliable internet access in order to access required systems and software associated with the position's responsibilities. The amount of time the employee is expected to work per day or pay period will not change as a result of participation in the teleworking program. Employees are responsible for the set-up of their home office environment, including physical set-up, internet connection, phone line, electricity, good lighting, comfortable temperature, furniture, etc. Employee’s teleworking space should be separate and distinct from their “home space” and allow for privacy. RareMed expects employees teleworking to be as efficient and professional as if they were in the office. The amount of time spent in office or teleworking is contingent upon the needs/priorities of RareMed and will vary based on those needs/priorities.
