Program Manager, Closeout Operations

Position Overview:

MedForce, an IQVIA business, provides best-in-class medical communication services to help life sciences companies connect with HCPs – and improve lives. Our services span the entire product life cycle for our clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to join our Closeout Operations team in support of our ongoing medical education programs. The Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting their assigned Program Analyst(s).

Our Managers are seen as a subject matter expert within the team and will be act as a point of escalation for ongoing client events in the closeout stage. The Manager will support the recruitment, training, retention, and standard operating procedures for our Program Analysts.
 

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support in the creating, updating, and enhancing of standard operating procedures for the PA role.
  • Assist in the recruitment of employees by taking an active part in the interview process.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of effective methods to train new team members, educate the existing team members, and help to enhance performance and improve employee engagement and retention of other PAs.
  • Provide leadership and day to day management to assigned PAs.
  • Monitor and manage team workloads and provide support when necessary and ensure accuracy of their work.
  • Provide regular timely feedback to PAs.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews to maximize performance against goals.
  • Manage all necessary performance improvement plans.
  • Address compliance observations from the client.
  • Work with Associate Director, SP Closeout Operations to streamline overall closeout and analyst processes.
  • Resolve employee conflicts, partnering with Human Resources, when necessary
  • Work with internal team members and departments, including:
    • Program Coordinators
    • Program Managers
    • Project Directors
    • Associate Directors of Operations
    • Account Managers/Directors
    • Finance
  • Download closeout related reports and distribute to closeout team for review and action.
  • Provide weekly Visa coding reports to Program Coordinators
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, client service level agreements and compliance guidelines.
  • Ensure PAs follow company and client policies and procedures.
  • Identify ways to improve workflows and help identify automations.
  • Perform other job-related duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Software/Technology:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to mentor, train, and manage staff for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical Speakers Bureau management role preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervising staff preferred.
  • Expert level understanding of Pharma Guidelines and Sunshine Act.
     

Travel Requirements:

  • This position may require up to 10% travel based on client needs.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $49,500.00 - $124,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
