This executive-level position is responsible for expanding our client base, cultivating strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue through high-impact initiatives across public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Leadership
Lead national business development efforts and identify opportunities in new markets and industry sectors
Collaborate with marketing partners and executive leadership to drive sustainable revenue growth
Represent NSC at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to build visibility and generate leads
Client Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers: architects, developers, general contractors, municipalities, and schools
Guide clients through pre-construction planning, RFP processes, and contract negotiations
Oversee smooth handoffs to estimating and operations teams to ensure exceptional delivery
Sales Enablement & Pipeline Development
Implement and manage CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to track leads and deals
Work with outsourced marketing partners to support top-of-funnel lead generation
Prioritize lead qualification, proposal development, and strategic pursuit of high-value contracts
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Estimating, Operations, and the Executive Team to ensure delivery capacity aligns with sales goals
Manage and support a growing Business Development team, providing clear direction and accountability
Align business development activities with company goals through participation in EOS® Level 10 meetings and contribution to our Vision/Traction Organizer (VTO)
Travel
Travel ~25% for in-person client meetings, job site visits, and industry events nationwide
Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or related roles within construction, architecture, design-build, or sports facilities
Strong track record of winning multi-million-dollar projects and long-term client relationships
Familiarity with K-12, municipal, and developer-driven project environments
Confident communicator and negotiator with proven leadership skills
Working knowledge of CRM systems and experience within an EOS®-driven organization is a plus
Local to the Saint Louis, MO area preferred, but not required
